Prioritizing & Thankfulness

We have been recently blessed with thanks for the benefits we've seen through these financial efforts. For those of you doing some with us, you know effort is . . . . sometimes and understatement. I'll give you 2 examples of where thankfulness and priorities fit into all this:

1. The Blog's namesake's wife is my beloved cousin and "playmate" and we were recently texting about eye makeup. Yes, to some this is trivial. However, if it makes you feel beautiful and confident, I'm all for it - she got a couple of things I recommended, even though they are not free or esepcially cheap. I hope she is thrilled a few days after taking my recommendations to the store! :) Since the Blog's namesake is her husband, you can bet they do cheap a lot ;D

2. There is a more serious side of all of this. God will provide. We areproof of that. We have 2 high mileage cars that have needed work recently. We have cashflowed those expenses. We also made a significant additional charitable commitment, and have been able to cashflow that. You can imagine that this left us feeling pretty tight. Our daughter is unhappy in her school environment, even though it IS a FABULOUS school. We are going through some educational consultations to find the best fit for her to learn and love learning, which she does enjoy. We are so blessed to have been able to choose the most expensive option because it felt right and provided resources we are excited to have! I'm not talking about minimally more expensive, either. However, we have never been more excited to spend that kind of money, nor can we think of a better place to invest it than in our daughter and her education. We are entering into this knowing that there will be significant additional costs in that area, and are thrilled to have savings because of many of these ideas. Many of these ideas have come from others, and I'm always up for more. We are so very blessed to be able to choose that priority!!!!! God is so faithful, and we have yet to dip into our savings to cover things . . .

I cannot explain it, and I'm pretty sure I don't want to look too closely. God WILL provide. Have faith & have a Merry Christmas and reflective Advent season.
